Clubs

Clubs at Hawthorn are meant to form the characters and minds of students. Participating in a club leads to a well-rounded, open, optimistic, joyful, courageous, confident, and resilient student. In addition, participating in clubs develops knowledge, inspiration, and critical thought.

Leaders of Tomorrow (LoT) 2.0

A Hawthorn volunteer outreach club, the LoT takes charge of many initiatives to address needs in our wider community, including compiling care packages for the homeless, organizing food drives, making and selling bracelets to fundraise, leading environment clean-up events, attending leadership classes, reading stories to LS/JS students, and supporting our liberal arts curriculum.

School Play

Every year, Upper School students put on an elaborate theatrical production supervised by a faculty member. (Pssst!  This year it’s a musical!!) They fill all the roles and gain experience in writing, acting, directing, and backstage production. It’s a full-house, must-see event!
