Dear Hawthorn Families,

Our Annual Big Sister – Little Sibling Walk-a-thon will be taking place Friday, September 22, 2023. We will be running/ walking in our local area.

As we are kicking off our athletics season it is with great honor that we are reinstating our athletics donation form as part of our  Walk-a-thon. This year we are encouraging students to seek as many pledges as possible to help cover our growing athletics fees.

The pledges collected will help to cover the following: transportation fees, new track and field equipment (hurdles, starting blocks, batons, shot puts, discus, javelins) as well as some new uniforms for our volleyball teams this winter. Our goal is $15,000.

We welcome all donations and value your continued support. We encourage students to go the extra mile. The House (Curie, Frank, Nightingale, Tubman)  with 100% participation and the most collected pledges will receive: a free jeans day, healthy treat, as well as 250 house points.

The individual student who collects the highest valued number of pledges will also be given a wearable prize.

All pledges are due back to the office by Tuesday, September 26, 2023.
