Hawthorn Wins Silver at Spirit of Wisdom Competition!

Four grade 9 students from Hawthorn School for Girls in their blue blazers, white blouse and red tie standing and smiling during the Spirit of Wisdom Competition. One is holding a trophy.

On April 5th Daniela Gastelum-Carbajal, Isabel Medina-Flores, Adesuwa Orobosa-Ogbeide, and Martha Salonga ventured out to compete in Spirit of Wisdom, 3rd ed., an inter-school trivia-style quiz contest hosted by Bond Academy in Scarborough. The questions in the competition are designed to challenge students’ knowledge, cultural literacy, and critical thinking skills. The event reflected the commitment of schools to broaden students’ intellectual horizons and cultivate their love of learning.

Huge congratulations go out to Dani, Isa, Adesuwa, and Martha for placing second in the field of seven Toronto independent schools. We’re so proud of you!

A big thank you to Chloe, Ceci, Ebun, Lilian, and Mary who were present to support their classmates.

BRAVA Hawthorn!!
