All-School Advent Lessons and Carols & Christmas Nativity Pageant
Dear Hawthorn Parents, Faculty, Staff, Mentors, & Students,
You are cordially invited to join us for our annual Christmas at Hawthorn event on Friday, December 5, at 6:00 PM. It is an all-school family celebration of Advent and Christmas with the participation of students from Junior School to Grade 12.
PLEASE NOTE THIS UPDATE: Students will have an early dismissal from school at 2:00 PM and are expected to return by 5:30 PM. After-school care will not be provided.
When: All guests and participants are asked to enter the back porch entrance of the school. Refreshments will be received in the Atrium. Information about refreshments will be made available prior to the event.
Where: Hawthorn School gymnasium.
What: JK to Grade 7 students will prepare in their homeroom classrooms; Upper School musicians and readers will prepare in Room 206 in the Lower School. Grade 6 to 12 students are reminded to bring their instruments, music binders, and/or readings.
Attire: Students in JK to Grade 12 are asked to wear their #1 Dress uniform, with stockings/tights and hair well groomed, unless otherwise specified by the Pageant coordinators.
Seating: Students in JK to Grade 5 are asked to sit with their parents during the Advent Lessons & Carols, like at an event. There is no reserved seating. Kindly follow the program to make the most out of the experience.
