Uniform
Students are to wear the Hawthorn uniform in a professional manner, in keeping with their dignity, as human persons. The uniform should be worn appropriately and be clean, neat, pressed, mended, and complete.
#1 dress days will be announced ahead of time. They include such events as school photo day, open house days, special school functions, etc. The regular school uniform is the required attire for most field trips, unless otherwise specified.

Shoes
- Shoes must be all black and have closed heels and toes.
- All shoes must have non-marking soles.
- Shoes are to be polished.
- Laces must be tied.
- Maximum heel height is one inch. TOMS style shoes are not permitted.
- Recommended shoe types include loafers, Oxford-style, or similar styles.
