Dear Hawthorn mothers,
Every year, we organize an evening for the grade 5s to 12s about a topic that is relevant to their age group while mothers participate in a roundtable discussion about parenting. On Thursday, October 10 at 5 p.m., we will be hosting our annual Mother-Daughter Evening. The evening is meant to strengthen the mother-daughter bond.
This year, the talks for the students will be as follows:
Grade 5 (mothers of these students to attend with them): Puberty
Grade 6 & 7: Etiquette
Grade 8 to 12 (mothers of these students to attend with them): Mental Health with Dr. Ania PoplawskaI
For Q&A, mothers will have a moderated discussion with Gia De Souza, mother of three, while students will remain with Dr. Ania Poplawska.
