US Italy Trip – Virtual Information Session

Dear Upper School Parents,
Andiamo in Italia!
We are excited to be planning this year’s Upper School Trip to Italy. The trip will include a visit to Florence, Rome, and Sorrento. Hawthorn has partnered with Explorica, an educational tour travel company, to organize this trip.
The dates for the trip are March 5th to 14th, 2025.
The total cost of the trip including airfare, accommodation, 2 meals (breakfast and dinner), all entrance fees and local coach and bus costs will be $5675 for students and $6160 per adult if registered before September 29th.
Please note that the more students and mothers attending the trip, the cost will decrease.
Click here to find the Rome & Florence 2025 Itinerary. Please note that the school has decided not to visit Pisa due to the limited time of the trip. While the cities we are visiting will stay the same, some of the activities planned may be subject to change.

There will be a virtual information session on Monday, September 16th at 7 pm (link to follow) with the Explorica Travel Agent where you will learn more about the trip, payment, insurance, etc. Please bring all your questions!
This trip has always been a beneficial and memorable event for our students, providing them with a unique opportunity to be part of a “living classroom, experiencing two thousand years of culture, art, and history in an unforgettable way. In preparation for this trip, students will be required to research and present in front of other students an aspect of the trip they are excited to visit in person.
