Hawthorn Head of School, Irian Flores de Medina, has reached out to the Class of 2025 with a little breather as they head into the final stretch of the school year. Considering the incredible efforts that they’re investing in their last term of high school classes, final assignments, post-secondary applications, decisions about next steps in their educational path, and their farewell tour of school activities (sports, trips, the play…), she figures they’ve earned it!
So, Ms Flores invited our grads to start their day with the school’s leadership team by enjoying a delicious breakfast together in the Hawthorn Boardroom on April 23rd at 09h00. Bagels, toppings, juice, and coffee were shared in this simple moment taken to celebrate all of our grads’ achievements thus far. As a surprise present, each grad was given a white sweatshirt saying ‘Class of 2025’. It was the first of many more recognitions to come as graduation day approaches. Hang in there, grads – you’re almost there!!
