Our Grade 4–8 Cross Country athletes wrapped up an exciting CISAA season filled with growth, determination, and standout achievements. From the Norval Outdoor School opener to St. Andrew’s College and the Championship finale at Centennial Park, our runners demonstrated consistency, courage, and teamwork throughout every race.
Meet 1 – UCC Norval Outdoor School (October 16)
The season opener set the tone for success.
- Aria B placed 3rd overall in the U10 category — an outstanding podium finish!
- Skyrah F finished 4th, and Aila R earned 7th in their divisions.
- Avriella R also made the Top 10 in the U11 race, finishing 6th.
This meet introduced several first-time competitors, whose enthusiasm and energy made it a memorable start to the season.
Meet 2 – St. Andrew’s College (October 23)
At St. Andrew’s, our runners continued to impress.
Multiple athletes achieved Top 10 and Top 20 finishes, including Aria (5th), Skyrah (5th), and Aila (4th).
The team’s cohesion and support for one another were remarkable, creating a strong lead-up to the CISAA Championships.
Meet 3 – CISAA U10–U14 Championships (October 27, Centennial Park)
The season concluded at the CISAA finals.
- The U12 Girls team placed 5th overall — one of the strongest finishes for Hawthorn this season.
- Skyrah F (12th) and Aila R (14th) ran excellent 3K races in the U13 division.
- Aria B continued her consistent streak, finishing 14th among more than 100 U10 runners.
Every Hawthorn athlete ran with courage and heart, embodying the true spirit of sportsmanship and perseverance.
