Honouring Grade 12 Student-Athletes

A special recognition was given to our graduating Grade 12 student-athletes and volunteers for their years of commitment to Hawthorn Athletics. Their leadership, dedication, and positive influence have helped shape our athletic culture and inspire younger athletes.

A meaningful highlight of the evening was a student-led presentation by Isabella ’26 and Madeleine ’26, who delivered a reflective talk accompanied by a slideshow showcasing their journey in Hawthorn sports. They shared memorable experiences, milestones, and challenges while expressing sincere gratitude to their coaches, teammates, and the Hawthorn community for their support throughout their LS and US athletic careers. They also offered thoughtful advice to younger athletes, encouraging them to stay committed, support one another, and enjoy their school sports experience. Their message emphasized resilience, teamwork, and pride in representing Hawthorn.

Throughout their time at Hawthorn, our student-athletes have demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, leadership, and dedication, making a lasting contribution to the growth and spirit of the athletic program. We thank them for their contributions and wish them continued success in their future academic and athletic pursuits.
