A huge thank you goes out to Nightingale House, led by their dynamic House Representative, Daniella, for a successful school food drive from October 7th to 18th. Each house is responsible for leading a generosity project during the school year, and Nightingale got things started with the first proposal. Their all-school food drive collected non-perishable food items for the Out of the Cold program at St. Basil’s Catholic Church.
Over 300 items were brought in, adding all sorts of dry and canned goods to a much-needed supply in our city. Two representatives from Nightingale House accompanied Miss Yu to personally deliver the items. Points were awarded to each house based on the number of items they brought in. Nightingale not only led the drive – they also brought in the greatest number of items! Congratulations, Nightingale!!
